With a determined look, Alex nodded. He reached into the chest and touched the cursed coin. The whispers grew quieter, and the curse was lifted. The chest burst open, and the treasure inside shimmered with light.

Alex swam back to the surface, the treasure chest in his arms. The whispers welcomed him back to the shore, and the lighthouse keeper watched from his tower, a knowing smile on his face.
