But as they approached, the ground began to tremble, and the sky darkened. A massive storm was brewing, and the egg started to glow with an intense light.

"Quick, we must take it!" Lily shouted.

"We have to get out of here!" Emma shouted, her eyes wide with fear.

They sprinted back through the hidden passage, the T-Rex following them. As they emerged from the cave, the storm was at its peak, and the egg was now glowing brighter than ever.

"Max, you need to use your tech to stabilize the egg!" Dr. Penelope ordered.

Max nodded, pulling out his gadgets. He began to work furiously, his fingers flying over the controls.

The storm raged on, but the egg's light seemed to counteract the chaos. Finally, the storm subsided, and the egg's glow faded.

"Done!" Max said, breathing heavily.

With a final hum, the time machine activated, and the students were whisked away from the prehistoric world.
