"Wow! We actually found the treasure!" Mina exclaimed, her eyes wide with wonder.

Tim, however, seemed less enthusiastic. "This is not what I expected. Captain Blackheart was a pirate, after all. I thought there would be more... adventure."

Just then, the ground beneath them began to tremble, and a hidden trapdoor opened in the ground. From within the darkness, a low, menacing laugh echoed, "You have disturbed the peace of the buried treasure, and now you shall pay."

A shadowy figure emerged, dressed in a black cloak, holding a cutlass. It was the ghost of Captain Blackheart, a spirit bound to the mansion and its treasure.

"I see you have found the chest," he said, his voice cold and menacing. "But you must understand that this treasure was not meant to be found. It is a cursed treasure, one that brings misfortune and pain to those who seek it."

Before Tim, Lily, and Mina could react, Captain Blackheart reached into the chest and pulled out a single, glittering coin. "This is the coin that started it all. It is the coin that will determine your fate."

The coin began to glow with a sinister light, and the ground trembled once more. The trio felt a strange sensation, as if they were being pulled toward the mansion.

"We need to find a way to break the curse!" Tim declared, his voice filled with determination.

The friends knew that they had to act quickly. They followed the path of the glowing coin, which led them to a hidden chamber within the mansion. Inside the chamber, they found a large, ornate book filled with spells and incantations.

"This book holds the key to breaking the curse," Mina said, her voice steady despite her fear. "But we need to find the correct spell and perform it before the coin can bring harm."

"Here it is!" Tim exclaimed, his voice filled with relief. "I've found the spell that will break the curse!"

With the help of the book, they managed to perform the incantation. The coin's glow dimmed, and the ground beneath them stopped trembling. The ghost of Captain Blackheart appeared before them, his expression one of gratitude.

"You have saved the mansion and its treasure from the curse," he said, his voice softer than before. "I will not harm you. Instead, I will grant you one wish."

Lily, Tim, and Mina exchanged looks, knowing that they had to make a choice that would have a lasting impact.

"Can we wish for the treasure to stay hidden?" Lily asked, her voice filled with hope.

The ghost of Captain Blackheart nodded. "Your wish is granted. The treasure will remain hidden, and the mansion will continue to stand as a testament to the legend of Captain Blackheart."

With the curse broken, the friends left the mansion, their adventure complete. They returned to the village, where the villagers greeted them with admiration and curiosity.
